Swim Lessons

We have Jessi in some more swim lessons this year. She is doing really well. Her main teacher is Sarah and she had another girl named Amanda help out one day. (Amazingly those are the names of the sisters that taught her last year too).
She is a little fish again this year. She loves to dive for toys on the bottom and has almost figured out how to get to the bottom on her own.

Also she has learned how to float on her stomach by herself this year, we are still working on getting her to float on her back, but we had some improvement yesterday.

Also she will now jump into the pool without help and swim to the step by herself! This is a big accomplishment for her since the first lesson and all last year she wouldn't jump unless someone was holding her hands.

They are also teaching her the first steps in treading water. She will go the length of the pool and back on the noodle all by herself!

She has become quite the little swimmer. She can swim from the steps across the pool without a breath! Now we just need to teach her how to take a breath and she will be doing great. We worked on it a little bit yesterday and she has 4 days left so I am confident that she will have it down by the end of swim!

The pool where she has lessons also has a slide and the first two lessons she loved it, but now she doesn't want to do that anymore during her free time, she would rather dive for toys.

Tanner has been really good at staying behind the fence and just watching and entertaining himself with a toy or the chairs. I love it!

Holy Cow she is really good. Camryn is just excited to put her face underwater.
