Our adventure

This weekend we were able to attend the Temple with our stake and we left the kids with a babysitter. She took them to the park and Tanner twisted his knee pretty good on the slide. We took him to the ER that night, waited, waited some more, took some x-rays, waited some more. Found out nothing was broken and by midnight we were finally able to come home with his leg in this splint. And were told to follow up with the pediatrician on Monday.

Well, Monday we went to the Pediatrician she took off the splint and referred us to a Orthopaedic doctor. We went there later Monday afternoon and were seen, and took more x-rays. They finally decided that he has sprained his knee. He has to wear a soft cast for the next two weeks and then we can take if off at home and see if he will walk on it then. If he doesn't it is back to see the orthopaedic doctor again. So hopefully the cast will help. Here is the cast.

We went to pick up Jessi after we finished at the doctor and Jessi says, "Now we need to get some sticks for his pits so he can walk."

Wish us luck. We are off to Disneyland on Thursday!

Oh, poor Tanner! My niece broke her arm recently too. Sad! He makes me think of Tiny Tim.

Wow! Poor kid! He looks pretty dang happy for having that giant cast on his leg. Good luck in Disneyland!

Lisa, I am so sorry. That is not fun. When Kayla broke hers they said sometimes it can take awhile for the xrays to show anything. Who knows. I hope things will be ok.

I hope Tanner is doing better. It always makes me so sad to see little kids in casts. Atleast it was just a sprain.
