In season?

Jessi has been asking lately which fruit is in season. I'm not sure where she is getting it from. Apparently Tanner has picked up on it though.
A few weeks ago at dinner we were having baked potatoes at MJ's parent's house. There was bacon on the table for a topping and the kids like to eat it plain. Jessi asked if we could have it for breakfast and I told her we didn't have any bacon at our house. Then Tanner says, "Mom, is bacon in season?"
We had a good laugh at that.
