Happy Hollow June 2011

We were able to go to Happy Hollow again with some of our friends from school last month. We had a great time and the kids did really well. I borrowed the wagon and they all piled in. Here are some pictures from our day.

Big Basin May 2011

In May, we had a few hours to do something as a family. We literally had about 4hours, and we decided to go to Big Basin. The drive took longer than we thought and the park was crazy, so we had to park pretty far away from the hike we usually do, so we ended up a little rushed. The kids didn't really know the difference, they enjoyed it anyway. Here are a few pictures of our little adventure.

Hunter Update

Back in April when Hunter was 18 months old we went to his check up. Here are his stats and comparisons from back then.

Hunter: Weight: 24.10 lbs; Height: 31.5 in.
Tanner: Weight: 21.12 lbs; Height: 32.25 in.
Jessi: Weight: 25.12 lbs; Height: 33.75 in.

Hunter is now 21 months and is starting to finally say a lot of words. He is very active just like Tanner and seems to run everywhere. If it is quiet for too long, I know I need to find him and see what he is into. He is my sneaky boy. He is very smart and will figure things out after watching the other two once or twice. This keeps me on my toes. Lately he likes to copy everything that Tanner does. This has been interesting. I keep telling Tanner that he needs to be a good example because Hunter is watching. Sometimes it works and sometimes it backfires.

We love our little cherub with his chubby cheeks and easy smile. Our family is complete with him in it.

Sharing

Tanner has been having a lot of trouble going to and staying in his own bed at night. This was the first of many nights we found him in Hunter's bed. He doesn't usually leave Hunter much room. It always makes me smile though.

Easter activities April 2011

We were able to attend a few more egg hunts during the Easter season as well as dye some eggs and find some Easter baskets. Enjoy the pictures, there are a lot of them:)

EGG HUNT 1

Hunter's first egg hunt. This is a great family in our ward at church who opened their back yard for anyone who wanted to come and find eggs. The YW/YM stuffed the eggs for the little one. You can see in this picture that there was quite a group that came. They let the little go first.

Time to clean again

We went through Jessi's room again in April and in order to get rid of some stuff we had to take some pictures. Enjoy! (Some may be repeats, sorry)

Field Trip to Emma Prusch Farm in April

So I am still behind, what else is new. I am going to attempt to catch up for the last few months before we do anything else this summer and I get more behind. We will see how I do.

Back in April before school was out, Jessi's class went on a field trip to a cute little working farm in our area. It is actually right in the middle of downtown.

There is a little area for small animals with geese, turkeys, chickens, a few pigs and ducks. The kids liked to see the animals up close, but were a little leery of the very forward geese, who were looking for food.


There is also a large animal barn with cows, sheep, and larger pigs in it. The kids liked the momma pigs the best and I don't think they realized the cows were going to be so big and smell as bad as they did. Luckily it was a cool day with a bit of a wind to help with the smell.

Then outside there are some more animals: goats, rabbits, etc. We walked around the rest of the park and then ate lunch and played on the toys.

I think the kids had a great time. This is the kids with some friends that also came.

It was a fun little adventure for the kids who usually don't get to see animals up close.

We have even been back since to check it out again.
