Hunter's first hair cut

So a few posts ago, I told you all the Hunter was getting some curls. Well those curls ended up being a little too much like a pony tail so we cut them off. Here are some pictures of his first hair cut.

Tanner went first, he is a pro, Mel is his buddy.

Hunter didn't mind the chair, he thought he was big stuff.

Here is his with Mel and Daddy. Hunter and Tanner are 4Th generation cut by Mel.

Hi Mel

What is going on?

I don't know about this.

I don't like this!

MOM Help

Daddy, why are you making me sit here?

I'm DONE!

He plugged through though and got his first sucker after he was done. Hopefully next time will be a little easier.

Barrel of Monkeys

Or was that a basket of monkeys? Anyway, they have fun together and Hunter usually doesn't mind being sat on:)

Furlough Week

This week we were off of school so I have been trying to get us out of the house a little bit, while still enjoying the lazy days.

Wednesday I decided that it wasn't too hot so we went for a walk/bike ride. Again I forgot the camera. Oops! Anyway, we went to the school, Tanner was tired by the time we got there. But he still ran the distance of the grass area with Jessi 4 times. Jessi does it every day after lunch and wanted to "practice". I think it was probably a good 1/4 mile total or more. Then we continues on to the park near the school, which the kids have been wanting to try out. We had the place to ourselves. It was awesome! It was shady also, so I loved it. Hunter hasn't really been on the play equipment so I decided to let him try it out. He is so good in the stroller or blanket so that is where he is at the park. He really loved it! I got a few pictures but they are on my phone and I don't know how to get them off so I will have to upload them later. Anyway, it was a great outing. But the walk home was a little too much for Tanner. I ended up walking with him on my shoulders with his scooter balanced on the stroller. I'm sure we got some great looks as we walked home. Jessi did great and didn't complain once about riding her bike.

Thursday I decided to take an outing to the Tech Museum with the kids. I think it was a little old for them but they still had fun. I think the highlight of the day was being able to ride "Thomas" (the transit train). They asked to go again, so I think we will try again with MJ with us next time.

I hope everyone is having some mini adventures of your own.

Jessi's first field trip

Last Friday Jessi went on her first field trip. She and her 59 other classmates, rode the bus up to Vasona Park, about 15 minutes north of us. It is a gigantic, beautiful park with a huge lake and a lot of walking trails. The point of the trip was to observe the changing seasons. She had a blast walking around and collecting leaves and "acorns". Gaga, Tanner, Hunter and I were lucky enough to be able to tag along. Unfortunately I didn't bring the camera, fortunately Gaga has a great phone so here area few shots of the morning.

After the nature walk, we "stole" Jessi from the bus and went to lunch with Tio then took her back to school because she didn't want to miss out on anything. It was a good day.

What did you do Saturday afternoon?

Hunter likes to be right in on the action, even with his own remote. I didn't pose these.
